Job summary

Valley Bank, a leading relationship bank, seeks a Banking Service Professional, Personal Banker, to provide effective sales and service support within the banking office, educate clients, and offer financial solutions.

You will perform teller and platform transactions, open new accounts (checking, savings, CDs, IRAs), discuss loan products, promote online and mobile banking, and help meet service quality standards while complying with procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; banking operations knowledge preferred.
• Associates or Bachelor's degree in accounting/business/finance is a plus.
• Experience with valley Retail training program or similar is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Provide effective sales and service support within the banking office.
• Educate clients on banking products and services and cross-sell as appropriate.
• Perform teller and platform transactions while maintaining accuracy.
• Open new accounts (checking, savings, CDs, IRAs) and discuss loan products.
• Promote online and mobile banking capabilities to customers.
• Ensure adherence to policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
