Job summary

BuiltADU is seeking a Pre-Construction & Sales/Growth Manager to drive the end-to-end process from lead qualification to project handoff. You will qualify leads, conduct site evaluations, coordinate with estimators, and ensure revisions capture full scope and cost.

You will manage contracts, coordinate architects/engineers, and navigate permitting to deliver clean, fully permitted packages. You will also drive CRM tracking, oversee marketing growth initiatives, and build scalable operations

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years in residential construction pre-construction, sales, or GC pre-construction management.
• Experience pushing plan sets through building departments; fluent in reading architectural, structural, civil, and utility plans.
• Understanding of subcontractor costs, material pricing, and site prep variables.
• Proven ability to build trust, grow pipelines, and close high-value contracts.
• Highly organized, manages leads and back-office tasks on time.
• Spanish language skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Inbound screening & site feasibility: qualify inquiries, conduct site walks, assess zoning and utilities.
• Scope accuracy & closing: align revisions with complete scope, present proposals within 5 days, secure contracts and deposits.
• Pipeline administration: track contract execution and project status in CRM.
• Marketing & growth: oversee spend, SEO, content, and new sales initiatives to expand regional pipeline.
• Permitting & architectural oversight: manage external architects/engineers and drive plan submittals.
• Municipal plan check & zoning: navigate City/County approvals and apply SB housing legislation to accelerate permits.
• Pre-construction, handoff & systems: package fully permitted files and enable smooth field handoffs; leverage AI to improve efficiency.
