Job summary

MatX Inc. is seeking an organized Operations Coordinator to support business development in Mountain View. You’ll manage scheduling across internal teams and external partners, draft follow-ups, and prepare research ahead of meetings to ensure productive discussions.

You’ll handle travel, coordinate visits and events, track action items, and drive special projects. The role requires 1–3 years in a fast-paced environment and comfort with ambiguity.

Qualifications

• Highly organized and detail-oriented
• Act first and course-correct, rather than waiting to be told
• Clear written communication with senior external stakeholders
• Comfortable with ambiguity and able to build your own systems
• Discretion handling sensitive and confidential information
• 1–3 years of experience in a fast-paced environment (startup)
• Based in or willing to relocate to the Bay Area

Responsibilities

• Manage scheduling across internal teams and external partners and vendors
• Triage inbound communications and draft follow-ups, recaps, and routine correspondence
• Research companies and people ahead of meetings, and pull together relevant history and goals
• Track action items to completion, coordinating with other teams and giving them the context they need to act
• Handle travel arrangements and expenses
• Coordinate logistics for visitors, events, and offsites
• Drive special projects that need an owner
