Job summary

MatX is seeking an Operations Coordinator in Mountain View to support business development. You’ll manage scheduling, prepare research ahead of meetings, and ensure commitments to partners and vendors are kept.

You’ll also tackle company-wide projects connected to business operations, including facilities, recruiting, and vendor payments. The role requires 1–3 years in a fast-paced startup, strong written and verbal communication, and the ability to organize and create scalable processes.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in a fast-paced environment, such as a startup.
• Based in or willing to relocate to the Bay Area.
• Strong written and verbal communication, including with senior external stakeholders.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented.
• Able to take initiative and build systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage scheduling across internal teams and external partners and vendors.
• Triage inbound communications and draft follow-ups and routine correspondence.
• Research companies and people ahead of meetings and assemble context and goals.
• Track action items to completion, coordinating with other teams and giving them the context to act.
• Handle travel arrangements and expenses.
• Coordinate logistics for visitors, events and offsites.
• Drive special projects with clear ownership.
