Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a Business Banking Relationship Manager to blend sales expertise with relationship management and financial acumen, helping business clients grow and succeed.

You will develop new client relationships, deepen existing partnerships, and deliver tailored financial solutions with support from a dedicated team and a full suite of products. In this role, you’ll focus on outbound marketing, prospecting, and building a book of business, while delivering credit and treasury

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Five to seven years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Spend 60-70% of time on outside business development, prospecting, and building a book of business.
• Develop, grow, and manage new and existing business client relationships.
• Build and maintain Centers of Influence (COI) networks for referrals.
• Deliver financial expertise and client-focused solutions to create long-term relationships.
• Assess clients' banking needs and provide tailored recommendations.
• Educate clients on deposits, lending, treasury management, and other banking solutions.
• Proactively manage assigned portfolio with strong credit quality and renewals.
• Obtain credit approval within lending limits and recommend credit structures.
• Partner with internal teams to deliver comprehensive financial solutions.
• Make referrals to additional business lines to meet client needs.
