Actalent in the United States is seeking a highly motivated Business Development Representative (BDR) to support engineering and science initiatives for visionary clients. You’ll research target accounts, conduct outbound prospecting, and qualify leads to set meetings for the sales team.

This on-site role in Ohio offers base pay of $55,000 with performance bonuses up to $1,200 per month, plus healthcare, PTO, 401(k), and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 1+ years of sales or customer service experience.
• A strong desire for a career in B2B Sales.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Research and build call sheets of targeted customers using LinkedIn and Consultants.
• Conduct outbound prospecting activities to generate new leads (cold calls, emails, social media).
• Qualify inbound leads and determine partnership potential.
• Schedule meetings for the sales team with qualified prospects.
• Maintain accurate records of prospect interactions in the CRM.
• Collaborate with the sales and delivery teams to refine outreach strategies.
• Achieve monthly and quarterly lead generation targets.
• Continuously learn about services, industry trends, and the competitive landscape.
• Increase sales and market share through newly generated accounts.
