Job summary

Santander Consumer USA Inc. in Kings Park, NY seeks a Teller Supervisor to lead customer service and drive banking sales while supervising colleagues. You will perform routine teller tasks, coach staff, and ensure compliance with regulations in a fast-paced branch setting.

The role requires 3-4 years in customer service and banking sales, with some supervisory experience preferred. A flexible schedule, including weekends, may be needed, and travel to other Banking Centers could occur.

Qualifications

• 3-4 years customer service and needs-based banking sales experience preferred.
• 0-2 years supervisory experience preferred.
• Demonstrated success in leading, coaching, and motivating.
• Working knowledge of all products and services.
• Keeps current with all systems used for branch transaction processing.
• Demonstrates strong customer service skills and the ability to support teamwork, creating a positive working environment.
• Ability to work a flexible and/or rotating schedule. May be required to work Saturdays, Sundays and extended hours. Travel may be required to alternate Banking Centers.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customers' needs in an accurate and timely fashion.
• Evaluate needs of clients and offer appropriate financial products and services.
• Perform routine teller transactions like deposits, withdrawals, check cash, loan payments and other transactions.
• Support segmentation strategy by implementing sales, retention, and other bank initiatives to drive growth.
• Aim to achieve/exceed both individual and team goals in sales, service and operations.
• Maintain compliance with Federal and State regulations and bank policies.
• Assist with supervision of banking center colleagues, coaching and onboarding new bankers.
