Job summary

Santander in New City, NY is seeking a Banking Center Relationship Banker 2 to connect customers with the right financial solutions and build lasting relationships. You will handle routine teller transactions, advise on products, and support sales initiatives to drive growth.

Ideal candidates bring strong customer service experience, knowledge of banking products, and the ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends. Travel between Banking Centers may be required.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Associates and/or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3+ years customer service and needs-based banking sales experience preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and motivate (supervisory experience a plus).
• Flexible schedule; may include Saturdays, Sundays and extended hours; travel to alternate Banking Centers may be required.

Responsibilities

• Responds to customers’ needs in an accurate and timely fashion; uses resources and tools available.
• Evaluates client needs and offers appropriate financial products and services via needs-based conversations to build relationships.
• Performs routine teller transactions (deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, loan payments).
• Supports segmentation strategies by implementing sales and retention initiatives to grow banking center profitability.
• Aims to achieve/exceed individual and team sales, service and operations goals.
• Maintains compliance with Federal and State regulations and bank policies; meets audits.
