Job summary

Hunt Electric Corporation is seeking an Electrical Project Manager to oversee medium-sized electrical construction projects in the Duluth area. The role is on-site in Hibbing and involves managing client relationships, directing crews, and coordinating purchasing, engineering, and installation through project completion.

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years as a PM in electrical, strong communication, and the ability to train junior staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years as a project manager in electrical industry.
• Understanding of design/build requirements and contract documents.
• Knowledge of electrical materials, tools, and methods.
• Strong planning, leadership, and resource coordination.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to train and coordinate junior staff.

Responsibilities

• Maintain existing and develop new customer relationships to secure future business.
• Direct and supervise service technicians, foremen, and crews in line with contracts and policies.
• Manage projects economically while prioritizing customer satisfaction and quality workmanship.
• Prepare, process, and maintain files, correspondence, schedules, reports, and billing.
• Direct project planning through purchasing, engineering, subletting, and installation.
• Collaborate with team during bidding when needed.
