Job summary

Worldpac seeks an Assistant Branch Operations Manager to learn all aspects of branch operations and assist the Branch Operations Manager in directing daily activities in the Birmingham, AL location. You will support training, safety compliance, and budgeting, while working to develop leadership within the team and ensuring a customer-service oriented approach across operations.

Ideal candidates bring at least 2 years of warehouse leadership, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and a willingness

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of leadership experience in a warehouse-related field.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently.
• Eligible to work in the United States.
• Be available to open/close the warehouse, Monday–Friday, and Saturdays as needed.

Responsibilities

• In the absence of the Branch Operations Manager, assumes responsibility for day-to-day activities and operations of the branch.
• Reviews and follows safety and security procedures, serving as a role model for compliance by all team members.
• Supports team members in training and development and applies learning to daily work.
• Maintains a customer service–oriented approach in all conduct within the team.
• Assists in learning all functions of Branch Management, including operations, staffing, training, and budgeting.
• Uses vehicles to deliver orders or pick up returned merchandise safely and courteously.
