Job summary

Worldpac, a leading automotive parts distributor, seeks an Assistant Branch Operations Manager to learn all aspects of branch operations and assist the Branch Operations Manager in day-to-day direction at our Woodlawn location.

The role requires strong leadership, proficiency with Microsoft Office, fluency in English, and the ability to manage a fast-paced warehouse environment, including occasional weekend shifts and driving duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in a warehouse or distribution setting is required.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
• Fluent reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Able to obtain a valid state driver's license and drive company vehicles.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Willing to open/close the warehouse and work Saturdays as needed.
• Understanding of P&L is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Learn and perform day-to-day branch operations in the absence of the Branch Operations Manager.
• Ensure safety procedures are followed and act as a role model for compliance by all team members.
• Support training and development of team members and apply learnings to daily work.
• Maintain a customer-service oriented approach in all interactions with customers and team members.
• Assist Branch Operations Manager to learn functions of Branch Management, including staffing, budgeting and performance reviews.
• Use company vehicles to deliver orders or pick up returned merchandise safely.
• Other duties may be assigned.
