Job summary

Hims & Hers is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager for Growth to lead a team focused on GoFlow and growth initiatives across acquisition, conversion, retention, performance, experimentation, and personalization.

You will partner with product, design, analytics, and marketing, drive architecture and developer experience, and mentor engineers in a fast-growing, remote-friendly environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering leadership in hyper-growth environments.
• Expertise in modern web technologies: JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Next, GraphQL, Node.
• Experience building and leading high-performing multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong full-stack background and architectural vision.
• Excellent problem-solving and data-driven decision making.
• Experience designing, scaling high-traffic web platforms.
• Strong grasp of agile frameworks and project management practices.
• Clear communication across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Self-starter with business acumen and execution focus.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of engineers, fostering innovation and continuous improvement.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide development opportunities.
• Collaborate with product, design, analytics, marketing, and telemedicine teams to define growth strategies.
• Manage timelines, resources, and budgets to deliver projects on time and in scope.
• Facilitate agile ceremonies: sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives.
• Coach team on industry best practices and ways of working.
• Ensure rigorous QA within an agile environment balancing speed and quality.
• Champion continuous improvement for platform scalability and performance.
• Anticipate business/industry issues and propose innovative approaches.
• Manage multiple teams of ICs and/or managers.
