Job summary

Hims & Hers is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager for Growth to lead a talented team building and scaling GoFlow-powered experiences across weight loss, sexual health, hormone health and more. You will partner with product, design, data and marketing to drive acquisition, engagement, and retention through resilient, fast web platforms.

You will guide architecture, tooling, and security while championing agile practices, performance, and a strong, collaborative engineering culture.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering leadership in hyper-growth environments.
• Expertise in modern web technologies: JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Next.js, GraphQL, Node.js.
• Proven experience building and managing high-performing teams.
• Strong background in full-stack development and software architecture.
• Excellent problem-solving and data-driven decision making.
• Experience designing, building, and scaling high-traffic web platforms.
• Ability to prioritize and make rapid decisions in a fast-paced setting.
• Excellent understanding of Agile frameworks and project management.
• Clear, concise communication bridging technical and non-technical audiences.
• Passion for user-centric products and delivering high-quality solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of engineers, fostering innovation and continuous improvement.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide development opportunities.
• Collaborate with product, design, analytics, marketing, and telemedicine teams to define growth strategies.
• Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets to deliver within scope.
• Facilitate and structure agile events: sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives.
• Coach the team on industry best practices and ways of working.
• Ensure rigorous QA within an Agile development environment.
• Champion continuous improvement for scalability and performance of GoFlow and related systems.
• Anticipate business and industry issues and propose innovative approaches.
• Manage multiple teams of ICs and/or managers.
