Job summary

Skylight is seeking a hungry, entrepreneurial head of ecommerce to own myskylight.com P&L, pricing, inventory, and growth strategies for its D2C channel. You will lead cross-functional teams across product, design, engineering, marketing, and finance, optimize conversion, improve SEO, and tell the brand story while balancing performance and growth.

This role reports to the President and requires proven experience scaling an omnichannel hardware business to $100M+ and building a high-performing

Qualifications

• Proven head-of-ecommerce leadership in a consumer hardware business at $100M+ scale.
• D2C P&L ownership with inventory planning.
• Strong strategic and business judgment with budget management.
• Experience shipping growth features and CRO tests quickly.
• Ability to hire and lead a cross-functional pod.
• High IQ, low ego, servant leadership with a track record of developing teams.

Responsibilities

• Own the P&L of myskylight.com with pricing, forecasting, and assortment strategy.
• Define and execute site vision balancing performance and brand storytelling.
• Guide A/B testing strategy and prioritization with the ecomm team.
• Oversee Product, Design, Engineering to align roadmap with growth.
• Collaborate with growth marketing to improve SEO and conversion.
• Set priorities across growth, product, design, and engineering.
• Own data and outcomes; report KPIs to leadership; inform roadmap.
• Manage ecomm budget including headcount, tools, agencies, and tech stack.
• Partner with demand planners on inventory for D2C.
• Hire and lead cross-functional pod; mentor team.
