Job summary

Skylight is seeking a Strategy and Special Projects Lead to drive the future direction of Operations. You will lead high-impact initiatives, scale systems, and build infrastructure supporting rapid growth across global retail and D2C channels.

You will collaborate with Finance, Product, CX and Marketing to align operations strategy, develop scalable tools, and deliver data-driven insights. A hands-on, autonomous role with broad impact.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in Operations, Supply Chain or eCommerce fulfillment in growth environments.
• Proven track record leading complex, high-impact Operations projects.
• Hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves mindset and problem-solving in teams.
• Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite) and operational tech.
• Strong strategic systems thinking and data-driven decisions.
• Ability to cross-train and ensure organizational momentum.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Shape operational strategy with leadership to design scalable systems, workflows, and tooling.
• Build data architecture and automated systems to shift from reactive to proactive operations.
• Lead mission-critical projects with clear roadmaps and cross-functional coordination.
• Run stand-ups to maintain momentum and accountability across teams.
• Identify automation and process improvements to unlock scale and reduce manual work.
• Turn data into actionable insights for strategic decisions.
• Create documentation for knowledge transfer and sustainable implementation.
• Validate new processes with thorough testing before deployment.
