Job summary

Morgan & Morgan in Orlando is seeking an Attorney to learn Workers' Compensation from the ground up. The associate will work alongside experienced Workers’ Comp litigators, handling a heavy and complex caseload and hearings.

This is a rare opportunity with a linear growth path; after mastery of Workers' Comp end-to-end, you will see a robust influx of cases, with potential to earn more in this practice area than elsewhere in the state.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in good standing with the Florida Bar.
• Ability to handle high-volume caseloads and hearings.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day handling of cases and hearings.
• Drafting and filing litigation documents including pleadings, discovery requests, responses, motions and memoranda.
• Guide clients through the case process.
• Collaborate with expert witnesses for conferences, reports and affidavits.
• Attend depositions, mediations, hearings, and court appearances.
