Job summary

Hilb Group in Woodcliff Lake, NJ seeks a Surety Account Manager to support a growing book of business. You will manage client insurance needs, gather information, prepare applications, and assist renewal marketing and policy administration.

You will collaborate with a team in a fast-paced environment, identify risks, design programs, and communicate proactively with clients to resolve questions and ensure service excellence.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School degree.
• Experience managing book of business.
• Ability to organize, prioritize and manage multiple clients.
• Detail oriented, resourceful – strong decision-making skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication.
• Ability to work autonomously and perform well under pressure.
• Ability to participate both as a team member and as a team leader.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Manage book of business and new business as referred.
• Manage all aspects of client’s commercial insurance needs, from information gathering, preparing applications and renewal marketing to policy administration.
• Risk Identification process execution, program design, implementation.
• Participate in day-to-day communication with clients proactively.
• Assist clients with questions and issue resolution.
• Participate as a Team member in a fast-paced, growing sales environment open to continuous improvement.
