Job summary

EZPawn in Jacinto City, TX seeks a Team Leader to coach and drive a 3–10+ person Sales Associate team, delivering exceptional customer service and building strong customer relationships. You will negotiate pawn and sales agreements, guide coaching and development, and ensure operational standards and compliance.

The ideal candidate has leadership experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to meet targets in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1+ years in a management role.
• Ability to offer and describe various solutions and their benefits to the customer.
• Strategic and tactical management skills.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug test.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
• Accountability for meeting targets and metrics in a performance-driven environment, a plus.
• Strong marketing and community outreach abilities, a plus.
• Knowledge of pawned items such as tools, jewelry, firearms or electronics, a plus.
• Pawn experience, a plus.
• Bilingual, a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and mentor a team of 3 to 10+ Sales Associates while delivering outstanding customer service.
• Build strong ongoing relationships with customers and negotiate mutual pawn/sales agreements.
• Analyze reports and profitability statements; provide recommendations and action plans.
• Recruit, select, orient, and train Team Members; monitor and appraise performance.
• Provide ongoing coaching to help Team Members achieve performance and career goals.
• Schedule and assign Team Members; ensure store operations meet requirements.
• Ensure pricing and timely markdowns follow guidelines.
• Secure merchandise by implementing security measures.
• Market and display merchandise while maintaining safe, clean store environments.
• Comply with all legal requirements and enforce policies and procedures.
