Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Build For Growth Mechanical Engineer I to support plant operations at the Whitehall Cement Plant in PA. The role focuses on equipment maintenance, CBM implementations, and reliability improvements within a 16-month development track designed for new graduates.

The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree (or 3 years equivalent) in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering, with 0–3 years of work experience and willingness to travel up to 5%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 3 years of equivalent experience required.
• Mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or related field preferred.
• 0-3 years of work experience required.

Responsibilities

• Support operation and maintenance of plant equipment.
• Develop and monitor CBM programs and maintenance routines.
• Create PMRs and BOMs for new equipment.
• Manage preventive/predictive maintenance programs for reliability.
• Perform root cause analysis to eliminate recurring problems.
• Support continuous improvement to increase MTBF of major equipment.
• Coordinate SAP PMR-related activities with maintenance planners.
• Provide training to maintenance staff on reliability concepts.
