Job summary

Amrize seeks a Build For Growth Engineer I (Process or Electrical) for the Ravena Cement Plant. This entry-level role participates in a 14-month development program focusing on main operational areas of our cement plants and hands-on projects.

The New Graduate will gain foundational knowledge in process controls, safety, and SAP reporting, with opportunities to lead small projects and contribute to continuous improvements. This is a full-time, on-site position in Ravena, NY.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
• 0–3 years work experience expected.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic IT skills.
• Willingness to travel ~5% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Analyze plant operations and recommend process improvements with cost/benefit analysis.
• Develop process control automation and computer applications for process control.
• Prepare computer reports on operating efficiencies and failure investigations.
• Assist management in maintaining environmental and quality performance compliance.
• Train shift supervisors for SAP reporting and TIS.
