Job summary

Amrize is seeking an entry-level Electrical Engineer I to design and modify electrical equipment for cement plants in North America. You will participate in a 14-month Build4Growth program combining classroom, on-the-job assignments, and projects.

You will work on CTI PLCs, HMI systems, and high-level controls, while supporting maintenance planning and capital projects. This role emphasizes safety and hands-on learning.

Qualifications

• Entry level (0-3 years) in Electrical Engineering.
• Preferred field: Electrical Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Develop and coordinate electrical design of new equipment.
• Support CTI PLCs, Ifix HMI, Kiln High Level/Mill High Level controls.
• Maintain networks and IT support for servers and switches.
• Manage electrical and mechanical projects.
• Contribute to preventative maintenance programs.
• Create PMRs and BOMs for electrical equipment.
• Prepare scope of work for plant electrical projects.
• Coordinate with contractors and obtain quotes.
• Prepare cost estimates for capital plans.
• Conduct economic feasibility studies on electrical modifications.
• Maintain specifications for modifications or additions.
• Revise drawings as required.
• Develop detailed preventative maintenance routines.
• Use SAP to purchase parts and manage capital projects.
• Commit to safety policies in all environments.
