Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Build For Growth Project Engineer I to influence multi-project execution at Holly Hill Cement Plant in SC. You’ll evaluate CAPEX requests, develop engineering studies, and implement cost-saving, safety-focused improvements aligned with asset reliability goals.

Collaboration across departments is essential to deliver on time. This entry-level role emphasizes growth in project management, engineering fundamentals, and hands-on site support while adhering to Amrize safety

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field.
• 0-3 years of work experience in project engineering or related areas.
• Proficiency with MS Office; familiarity with Primavera, Oracle, AutoCAD and Build-to-Win preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review CAPEX project proposals and ensure report completeness before plant submission.
• Maintain technical databases and libraries for projects and learnings.
• Prepare engineering studies and cost-effective concepts with cross-functional teams.
• Plan, schedule and coordinate technical management of projects to meet scope and budget.
• Ensure design specifications and construction work meet quality standards and deadlines.
• Support field engineers on site and resolve issues; assist in drawing reviews.
• Participate in contractor meetings and assist with price analysis for proposals.
• Uphold health, safety, and environmental policies in all work environments.
