• Strong customer relationship, communication, and business development skills.
• Commercial judgment and understanding costs, pricing, and profitability.
• Technical aptitude and mechanical orientation, with ability to learn manufacturing processes and drawings.
• Proficiency with Excel and ability to learn ERP/MRP systems.
• Strong organization, attention to detail, problem-solving, and follow-through.

Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities, expand existing accounts, and follow up on quotations.
• Prepare accurate quotations, coordinate costs and lead times, negotiate terms within guidelines.
• Understand customer drawings, BOMs, and communicate requirements to internal teams.
• Serve as main contact, communicate about quotations, orders, changes, and delivery expectations.
• Support quotation-to-order transition and resolve issues impacting satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate customer and sales records; monitor market trends and pricing.
• Collaborate across departments to drive profitable growth.
