Horizon Hospitality, a destination hospitality venue near Houston, seeks an entrepreneurial General Manager to lead operations across the venue, tasting room, events, and distribution, directing financial performance and growth initiatives.

This hands-on role reports to ownership and drives SOPs, staff leadership, and commercial strategy, with a base salary of $90,000–$110,000 and a quarterly profit-based bonus potential; relocation assistance available case-by-case.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of senior operational leadership in high-volume hospitality.
• Financial management with budgets above $2.5M and margin improvements.
• Proven commercial sales ability achieving revenue growth via events/memberships.

Responsabilités

• Maintain complete P&L accountability across all profit centers.
• Expand top-line revenue while optimizing margins, labor, and EBITDA.
• Drive business development for the new premier banquet facility.
• Direct daily front-of-house operations across tasting room, events, and sales.
• Partner with winemaking team; establish SOPs and focus on product quality.
• Recruit, train, mentor, schedule, and lead department managers and staff.
• Oversee distribution initiatives and new beverage lines.
• Develop SOPs for POS, booking engines, inventory, cash, pour costs, tips.
• Create weekly dashboards tracking revenue, labor, and membership growth.
• Formulate a 24-month strategic plan with capital priorities and growth.
