National General is seeking a Direct Sales Agent Specialist to drive growth by generating new business, cross-selling, and building lasting relationships in local markets. You’ll engage customers in person and over the phone, nurture a strong pipeline, and support community-based marketing efforts.

The role offers a base rate of $20.00 per hour with incentive pay, 0–2 years of experience, and P&C licensing preferred or attainable within 90 days.

• P&C licensing (Preferred) or must attain required licensure within 90 days of joining the company
• Base compensation: $20.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Achieve sales goals through new business, cross-sell, and retention
• Build and maintain a consistent pipeline, including local lead generation and referrals
• Develop relationships within the community (e.g., dealerships, events, local partners) to support business growth
• Conduct outbound prospecting and follow-ups to convert opportunities into sales
• Partner with leadership to support sales and local marketing initiatives
• Stay informed on products, underwriting guidelines, and market competition
• Deliver results aligned with performance standards, compliance requirements, and customer experience expectations
