Job summary

Corodata Corporation in San Jose, CA, is seeking an entry-level Business Development Representative to support sales activities and learn operations. You will prospect leads, set appointments, and assist with proposals and presentations while gaining CRM, estimating, and project management skills.

You will report to the Sales Manager with a dotted line to a Strategic Account Executive, collaborating across departments to ensure customer happiness and growth into an Account Executive role.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Knowledge of MS Office, including MS Excel and PowerPoint.
• Valid California driver’s license and driving record that meets the company’s insurance carrier’s requirements.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent of education and experience is preferred.
• One – three (1-3) years of customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prospect leads and identify opportunities to grow Corodata’s client base.
• Cold call prospects and set sales appointments.
• Conduct site surveys for scoping projects, estimating costs, and developing client proposals.
• Develop and present proposals and project plans to clients.
• Follow up with clients on open and pending proposals.
• Coordinate project details with Corodata transportation team and respond to inquiries.
• Provide customer service and follow up to ensure customer success.
• Regularly visit jobs in progress to engage with clients and Corodata team members.
