Orkin in Sharon, MA is seeking an Operations Manager / People Leader to guide a high-performing branch, drive service excellence, and growth, while shaping a winning culture.

You will travel 25% of the time, relocate within the division geography for higher roles, and mentor teams to achieve competitive results and customer satisfaction. This role is a stepping stone to regional leadership with strong training and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Documented success driving revenue for a Home Services company.
• Ability to obtain the pesticide license within the first 90 days (company paid).
• Ability to work in the field independently and manage route-based assignments.
• 5–7 years of multi-operational or sales management experience.
• 5–7 years of P&L responsibility and cost-control understanding.
• 5–7 years of customer relations experience.
• 5–7 years of P&L management and business processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead a branch location after a 90‑day training period.
• Travel to branch offices for visits about 25% of the time.
• Relocate within division geography for higher roles.
• Inspire teams to deliver top-notch service and continuous improvement.
• Drive revenue growth and hold teams accountable for results.
• Manage P&L and invest in growth while controlling expenses.
• Ensure compliance with laws and company policies for vehicles.
• Recruit, hire, mentor, evaluate and coach staff.
• Drive sales initiatives and identify cost savings and service improvements.
• Collaborate with Senior Leadership and HR on hiring, promotions, succession, performance, and term decisions.
• Promote positive employee relations and uphold standards.
• Maintain technical knowledge in pest control and operations management.
