Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a Business Banking Relationship Manager to connect business clients with lending, treasury management, deposits, and card solutions to support growth.

You will develop new client relationships, deepen partnerships, and deliver tailored financial solutions with a strong emphasis on outside business development and collaboration across multiple lines. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Five to seven years of relevant experience.
• Experience prospecting companies with annual revenues >$10M.
• Proven ability to develop new business and grow a portfolio.
• Established Centers of Influence network or demonstrated success building one.
• Experience with SBA 7(a) and 504 lending programs.
• Commercial & Industrial lending experience.
• Developer & Investor CRE experience.
• Experience managing complex credit structures and loans >$2.5M.
• Experience with businesses up to $25M in annual revenue.
• Strong knowledge of commercial credit, credit quality, and portfolio management.
• Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and relationship management skills.
• Ability to collaborate across multiple lines and partner groups.
• Demonstrated problem-solving and fast-paced decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Spend 60-70% of time on outside business development, prospecting, self-sourcing, and building a book of business.
• Develop, grow, and manage new and existing business client relationships.
• Build and maintain Centers of Influence networks to generate referrals.
• Deliver financial expertise and client-focused solutions that build long-term relationships.
• Assess clients' banking needs and provide tailored recommendations.
• Educate clients on deposits, lending, treasury management, payments, and other solutions.
• Proactively manage an assigned portfolio with credit quality and renewals.
• Obtain credit approval within lending limits and recommend structures.
• Partner with Treasury Management, Merchant Services, and other teams to deliver solutions.
• Make referrals to additional lines and specialists to meet client needs.
