Job summary

SecureSpace Management LLC in Vista, CA is seeking an Assistant Store Manager who will support the Store Manager, drive unit rentals, and lead a team to deliver outstanding customer service.

You will help manage scheduling, operations, and vendor relationships, with weekend availability and occasional travel to nearby locations. The role includes a $1,500 retention bonus, paid after milestones, and a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in storage, retail, or hospitality.
• Strong English written and verbal communication.
• Supports Store Manager and covers in their absence.
• Customer-service oriented.
• Proficient in Word and Excel.
• Able to travel occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Support the team in surpassing sales targets and promote rentals.
• Guide new customers through the rental process.
• Coordinate with clients on move dates and unit readiness.
• Manage past-due tenant accounts and lien/auction paperwork.
• Conduct daily property inspections for security and cleanliness.
• Perform light maintenance tasks and gardening.
• Schedule shifts with the team, including weekend availability.
