Job summary

Hillmann Development Advisors, LLC is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join our Springfield, VA team. This role supports the Project Manager across planning, budgeting, and client coordination for environmental, remediation, and demolition projects.

Ideal candidates have 1–5 years in architecture/engineering/design, a degree in a relevant field, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. OSHA 10 is a plus, and travel may be required up to 15%.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Architecture, or equivalent.
• 1–5 years of arch/engineering/design experience preferred.
• RA, PE, PMP, LEED AP, NCIDQ, RICS or equivalent certs may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Support the Project Manager in planning, executing, and finalizing projects on time and within budget.
• Manage day-to-day project aspects including budget and base scope.
• Review team deliverables and coordinate client communications and meetings.
• Travel up to 15% for project-related meetings or walkthroughs.
• Ensure documents, contracts, and task orders are reviewed and filed per protocol.
• Forecast hours, track budget, and report project progress.
