Hillmann Development Advisors, LLC in Springfield, VA is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support planning, execution, and delivery of environmental, remediation, and construction projects. The role demands organization, strong client service, and safety focus, with opportunities for advancement in a growing firm.

You will assist the Project Manager on multiple projects, handle budgets, timelines, and documentation, and collaborate with a cross-disciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Education: Degree in Engineering, Architecture, or equivalent.
• 1–5 years of experience in architecture, engineering, or design; relevant certifications considered (RA, PE, PMP, LEED AP, NCIDQ, RICS).
• Excellent communication, client management, time management, MS Office and Excel; technical writing a plus.
• OSHA 10 Certification.
• Mastery of English; valid driver’s license; reliable transportation; project experience in residential and/or commercial; ability to read contracts and shop drawings.

Responsibilities

• Support the Project Manager in planning, executing, and finalizing projects on time and within budget.
• Manage day-to-day project operations: budget, base scope, and additional services.
• Review deliverables and coordinate with team.
• Travel for project meetings or site walkthroughs (≈10–15%).
• Ensure project documents, contracts, and task orders are reviewed, approved, signed, and filed.
• Project accounting: track hours and manage budget.
• Facilitate team and client meetings; communicate progress to client, team, and leadership.
• Deliver engaging presentations and develop client relationships; identify new opportunities.
