Job summary

Popeyes is seeking an Assistant General Manager to support the Restaurant General Manager in daily operations, coaching the crew, and delivering guest experiences with “Love That Chicken” hospitality.

You will lead shifts, coach and develop team members, monitor food quality and safety, manage labor and costs, and help hire and train new staff in a fast-paced, guest‑facing environment. This role requires flexibility for weekends and holidays and a hands-on, lead-by-example leadership style.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in restaurant or retail management (QSR experience is a plus).
• People-first leadership style with a hands-on, lead-by-example approach.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• A love for fast-paced environments and great food.
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Support all aspects of daily restaurant operations, from the front counter to the back of house
• Lead shifts with confidence - ensuring speed, accuracy, and top-tier guest experiences
• Coach, develop, and motivate team members to hit service and performance goals
• Monitor food quality, safety standards, and cleanliness
• Assist in managing labor, food costs, and profitability
• Respond to guest feedback and resolve concerns with care
• Ensure compliance with brand standards, policies, and safety procedures and other duties assigned.
• Help with hiring, onboarding, and training of new team members
