Job summary

Sulzer seeks a high-impact Business Development Director to lead growth in our FLOW division. You will drive Growth Driver Plans, partner with regional sales heads, and mentor our Regional Marketing and Order Entry teams.

This role requires a strong commercial background in pumps and municipal/industrial markets, plus Lean process improvement and team leadership. Travel to Easley, SC will be routine.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
• 8+ years of progressive commercial B2B experience in municipal/industrial pumping.
• Hands-on knowledge of channel partners, reps, and distributors.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams including marketing and order-entry.

Responsibilities

• Lead growth initiatives for the FLOW division and GDPs.
• Optimize distributor networks and expand market reach.
• Mentor Regional Marketing and Order Entry teams for alignment.
• Drive adoption of Salesforce/CPQ/SAP tools to improve efficiency.
• Apply LEAN/VBSS to remove waste in processes and workflows.
• Track orders and rolling forecasts via dashboards.
