DBI Projects is seeking a Director of Marketing and Business Development to drive growth from its New York City headquarters. This role oversees expansion across multiple markets and sectors, shaping marketing strategy, brand positioning, proposals, and lead development.

A senior marketing leader will manage a small team and report to Principals. The position requires a track record in marketing within AEC or real estate, strong design communication skills, and success in winning business for

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience marketing in the AEC or real estate industries.
• 5+ years of experience developing and writing proposals.
• Strong communication design skills and proficiency with InDesign.
• Experience winning business in DBI’s key project sectors.

Responsibilities

• Growth Planning: Develop and implement strategic growth plans for key focus areas and markets.
• Brand Positioning: Oversee marketing materials, online presence, and market positioning.
• Proposal and Pursuit Management: Lead development of proposals, qualifications, and pitch decks; manage lead process.
• Lead Development and Client Cultivation: Drive new business and build client relationships across sectors.
• Networking and Events: Identify opportunities, coordinate events, and lead thought leadership initiatives.
• Design and Photography: Oversee marketing materials and coordinate photography.
• Management: Lead a small team and participate in leadership discussions.
• Reporting: Track growth projections, department records, and budget.
