Job summary

Black & Veatch seeks a Director of Business Development to lead growth in digital infrastructure projects including data centers. You will drive external stakeholder management, client engagement, and development of marketing and sales collateral.

You will oversee market analysis, partnerships, and align initiatives with financial targets while collaborating with multiple internal teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required for all applicants.
• 10+ years in business development, origination, PR, government affairs, or sales within infrastructure sectors.
• Experience with data center owner/operators and complex deal closures.
• Excellent negotiation and executive presentation abilities.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead marketing and sales strategies for data centers and related infrastructure.
• Lead community engagement and public relations strategies.
• Coordinate with government affairs and local officials.
• Develop marketing and sales collateral and manage client relationships.
• Identify and close deals and build strategic partnerships.
• Provide leadership and mentor team members.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or related field
