Job summary

Crestline Hotels & Resorts is seeking a General Manager for the Courtyard by Marriott Charlottesville - University Medical Center to guide a busy select-service hotel with a focus on guest satisfaction and revenue growth.

The role requires hands-on leadership on the floor, staff development, and collaboration with hotel ownership, regional teams, and corporate leaders to drive service excellence and profitability.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of General Manager experience in a busy Select Service hotel, or 4+ years as an Assistant General Manager.
• Strong written and verbal communication and data interpretation via email and reports.
• Experience with hotel information systems and accounting systems.
• Premium brand experience (Hilton, Hyatt, Marriott or IHG) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Strong focus and adherence to Crestline’s measures: Revenue Index, Flex/Flow, and Guest Satisfaction in initial period.
• Staff optimization: develop mission and tools for leadership to deliver exceptional service within 30 days.
• Develop key relationships with Hotel Ownership and Field/Corporate Staff within 30 days.
• Collaborate with Sales staff, onsite and regional, and corporate Sales & Marketing leadership.
