Job summary

Constructable Inc. in The Woodlands, TX, is seeking a Director of Business Development & Marketing to lead growth, shape strategy, and own the revenue cycle from lead gen to contract.

This role combines a hunter mindset with strategic leadership, guiding BD and marketing teams, managing pipeline in Salesforce, and building executive relationships with key accounts in energy, data centers, oil & gas, and industrial markets.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in B2B business development and/or marketing, ideally in industrial construction, engineering, or capital projects.
• 5+ years leading BD and/or marketing teams.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets and managing complex sales cycles.
• Experience developing and executing integrated BD and marketing strategies.
• Deep experience with RFPs, bids, and negotiated contracts.
• Advanced consultative selling, strategic account management, and executive relationship-building skills.
• Strong negotiation, objection handling, and closing capabilities.
• Proficiency in Salesforce, ZoomInfo, and sales/marketing enablement tools.
• Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute an annual BD and marketing plan aligned with revenue, margin, and market-mix goals.
• Identify and prioritize target verticals, geographies, and key accounts across Energy, Oil & Gas, Data Centers, Transportation, and Industrial markets.
• Lead pipeline health, forecast accuracy, and growth reporting to the CEO and leadership team.
• Coach and develop the BD and Marketing teams; set goals and KPIs; conduct pipeline reviews.
• Oversee proposals, pricing, and contract terms in collaboration with Estimating and Legal.
• Own brand and marketing strategy across channels; manage campaigns, events, and collateral.
