Job summary

Zendesk seeks a Senior Manager, Growth Analytics to lead a team of analysts and partner with PLG Product Managers and Engineers to improve customer discovery, adoption, and expansion.

You will shape analytics strategy, operating model, and capabilities to scale decision-making with a hands-on approach and strategic oversight. The role blends technical work with leadership across the customer journey.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in product analytics or related field in SaaS.
• Experience designing/measuring product experiments and statistics.
• Strong SQL skills across multiple data sources.
• Experience with Python, R, or similar for analysis.
• Familiarity with modern data platforms (Snowflake/dbt).
• Ability to define metrics and measurement plans with product/engineering.

Responsibilities

• Understand PLG journey performance and identify friction points.
• Build relationships across Sales, Marketing, Product, Engineering, and Data teams.
• Define business questions, hypotheses, goals, and success metrics with PMs/Engineers.
• Lead and develop a team of growth analysts and guide career growth.
• Establish and evolve PLG funnel measurement and dashboards.
• Analyze customer behavior using segmentation, cohorts, funnels, and retention.
• Design measurement plans for initiatives and experiments and interpret results.
• Improve reliability of analytics via standardized metrics and self-service reporting.
• Leverage AI tools to accelerate analysis and data modeling.
