Job summary

Hyatt Regency Coral Gables is seeking a Group Sales Manager to lead group sales for a designated market. You will sell guest rooms, meeting space and Hyatt services to customer groups, manage accounts, conduct site inspections and generate new business, while coordinating with the sales and catering teams to deliver exceptional service.

The role reports to the hotel leadership team and requires strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with 1–3 years in hotel sales preferred.

Qualifications

• Refined verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be proficient in general computer knowledge.
• Prefer selling, negotiating, business writing and presentation skills training.

Responsibilities

• Sell guest rooms, meeting space and Hyatt services to customer groups.
• Manage accounts, conduct site inspections, solicit and generate business.
• Prepare and present effective proposals and maintain documentation/reports.
• Coordinate customer service requirements with sales, catering staff and Sales Coordinator.
