Hotel Equities is seeking a Group Sales Coordinator for the Mar Monte Hotel in Santa Barbara, CA. You will assist the sales team with contracts, proposals, and client communications while supporting front desk operations to ensure guest satisfaction.

The role involves coordinating group room bookings, events, and related services, plus preparing sales materials and reports. A strong candidate will have MS Office skills, hospitality experience, and a customer-focused approach.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with major hotel brands (Marriott, Hilton, IHG, Wyndham or Hyatt) preferred.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint; strong grammar and comms.
• Able to sit/stand for long periods and multi-task in a front-desk setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist sales managers and front desk in contracting, proposals and correspondence.
• Support sales efforts in soliciting new business and selling guestrooms and meeting space.
• Coordinate and manage group room reservations, events, and related equipment and F&B details.
• Prepare and send direct mail, sales packets and collateral; route BEOs to departments.
