Qualifications

• College degree or High School Diploma with related experience.
• 2+ years of sales experience.
• Must be able to read, write, and understand English.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong negotiation skills and ability to build relationships and close deals.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient computer skills; Microsoft Office and related programs.

Responsibilities

• Assist sales team in achieving and exceeding budgeted goals in guestroom revenue, profit and occupancy for the hotel.
• Communicate with Director of Sales to review opportunities impacting revenue goals.
• Conduct weekly sales calls to existing and new accounts; uncover new business.
• Build and strengthen relationships with accounts for future bookings.
• Travel locally to conduct outside calls and promote the hotel.
• Generate leads via internet searches, email solicitations, referrals, and events.
• Arrange site inspections for new accounts; maintain accurate sales records.
