Job summary

Schulte Hospitality Group is hiring an energetic Sales Group Rooms Coordinator for the AC Hotel by Marriott Phoenix-Biltmore. Join a service-driven team and help manage group room blocks, while providing outstanding guest service and seamless coordination with revenue and sales teams.

The ideal candidate has front office or reservations experience, familiarity with PMS systems (Opera preferred), and a strong eye for detail.

Qualifications

• Minimum of six (6) months prior reservations or front office experience in a full-service hotel or related.
• Prior experience with Opera PMS is preferred.
• Minimum of High School education.

Responsibilities

• Within 48 hours of receipt, inputs group room listings by following a detailed checklist.
• Works with Director of Revenue Management to achieve optimum occupancy and revenue.
• Reviews contracts for accuracy in rates, dates, billing inventory levels, and other information.
• Creates and maintains complete files on all bookings reflected in Sales PMS.
• Provides information and assistance to enhance guest service.
• Participates in weekly group pick-up meetings.
• Provides continuous service to hotel and guests to assure guest satisfaction.
• Attend group pre-function meetings.
• Answer reservation sales calls when volume dictates.
• Posts, tracks and follows all SOPs with advance purchase/deposit reservations.
• Perform various other duties as assigned to meet business objectives.
