Job summary

Hyatt Regency Houston in downtown is seeking a Full-Time Reservations Coordinator (Group Focus) to manage group room blocks, rates, cut-off dates, and bookings on-site in Houston, TX.

You will collaborate with Sales and Event Planning Managers, assist with reservation calls, emails, and site visits, and ensure accurate billing, deposits, and postings while delivering exceptional guest service.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a hotel or hospitality setting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience with Hyatt systems such as Opera, Envision, and Reserve is a plus.
• Must be able to work on-site in Houston, TX.

Responsibilities

• Manage group room blocks, accuracy of rates, cut-off dates, and room allocations.
• Process group reservations via phone, fax, or email; support reservations team.
• Coordinate with Sales, Event Planning and Meeting Planners.
• Set up and maintain traces; handle billing and deposits per policy.
• Provide guest information and ensure excellent service.
