Job summary

The Group Manager I at JE Dunn Construction will lead the assigned work program across the project lifecycle, setting strategic direction, driving operational excellence and managing budgets to meet contractual and financial targets in line with JE Dunn’s values.

Responsibilities include safety leadership, client relationship management at the executive level, business development, risk management, subcontractor strategy, preconstruction and scheduling, plus team guidance to deliver projects

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field.
• 10+ years construction management experience.
• 5+ years people management experience.
• Valid and unrestricted driver’s license.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety culture across the work program and mentor others.
• Develop and execute company-wide strategies and policies.
• Manage client relationships at leadership level and identify new business opportunities.
• Oversee risk management, change orders, and contract negotiations.
• Drive subcontractor selection and preconstruction planning.
