Job summary

ECS Southeast, LLP is seeking a Group Supervisor to lead a geotechnical and construction materials team while directing project profitability. You will mentor engineers, technicians, and project managers and strengthen client relationships to grow the location's business.

You will oversee operations, prepare proposals, review technical reports, and participate in marketing and business development. Strong leadership, communication, and a solid civil engineering background are required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee all operations in your location in accordance with ECS policies and procedures
• Supervise a diverse team of employees, including geotechnical and construction materials project managers with emphasis on growth and financial performance
• Prepare proposals, oversee projects and perform technical report reviews
• Participate in marketing and business development with a focus on maintaining regular client contacts
• Train and mentor existing and new employees in your location
• Promote an overall commitment to the execution of timely, quality work performance with an emphasis on business development
• Oversee schedules and review employee time and expenses to ensure that they are correctly recorded and coded for billing
• Conduct and/or assist with coaching, performance evaluations, discipline, and termination of employees
• Assist with recruiting and maintaining appropriate staff levels with approval by your management
