ECS Southeast, LLP seeks a Group Manager to lead the Macon office, guiding engineering projects, staff, business development, and daily operations. You will mentor teams and cultivate strong client relationships while delivering high-quality engineering work.

With 8+ years of technical and managerial experience, you will set ambitious standards, manage budgets, and drive safety and engineering excellence across projects in geotechnical and construction materials disciplines.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of technical and managerial experience.
• Demonstrated leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Strong business acumen with P&L experience.
• Excellent project management and organizational abilities.
• Committed to safety and engineering excellence.
• Knowledge of local/regional engineering climate.

Responsibilities

• Manage multidisciplinary engineering projects including geotechnical and construction materials projects.
• Assemble project teams and provide leadership throughout the full project lifecycle.
• Oversee project financials, resource allocation, schedules, and deliverables.
• Ensure quality control, safety standards, and engineering best practices are maintained.
• Perform technical review of engineering designs, drawings, plans, and specifications.
• Pursue new business opportunities through networking, proposals, and client relationships.
• Manage branch budgets, forecasts, hiring, and staff development.
