Job summary

ECS Group of Companies is a leading geotechnical, construction materials, environmental and facilities consulting firm based in the United States. The selected engineer will prepare geotechnical reports, manage CMT projects, and develop proposals and budgets for diverse sitework.

The role involves mentoring staff, supervising field crews, and coordinating with clients to deliver timely, technically sound solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor and/or Master of Science in Civil Engineering, Geological Engineering, Geology, or similar is required
• 2 years of related experience
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) or Professional Geologist (P.G.) preferred; a professional license is required in each state you work to use the title

Responsibilities

• Prepare geotechnical reports with analysis and recommendations to meet deadlines
• Manage construction materials testing (CMT) projects with daily report reviews and issue resolution
• Prepare both geotechnical and CMT proposals, budgets, change orders, and invoices
• Host or attend project meetings with clients to review reports and provide technical solutions
• Assist with drilling packages, obtain utility clearances, and supervise field work
• Classify soil and assign laboratory testing
• Mentor and support Staff Project Managers, Assistant Staff Project Managers, and technicians in their development
