Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking an Assistant Program Director in Needham, MA to support the Program Director in daily residential operations. You will supervise staff, assist with ISPs, schedules, menus, and case management; serve as a resource for individuals and families, and collaborate with referral agencies to achieve goals.

The role emphasizes PBIS, staff training, and community inclusion initiatives, with a focus on health, safety, and compliant documentation.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in a Direct Care position.
• 1 year of staff supervision is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Criminal History Background Check (CORI) required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Program Director in interviewing, hiring, orienting, training, supervising, and evaluating staff.
• Foster a team-oriented approach with clear expectations and regular communication.
• Participate in intake and orientation for new individuals and contribute to case assignments.
• Coordinate services with individuals, families, referral agencies, and residential staff.
• Develop and monitor program goals, evaluate service effectiveness, and allocate resources.
• Maintain positive working relationships with stakeholders and ensure satisfaction with operations.
• Implement and promote Positive Behavioral Supports within the program.
• Develop community inclusion opportunities in employment, education, and recreation.
• Train staff to create meaningful community experiences and ensure implementation.
• Coordinate healthcare through medical/clinical appointments and nursing follow-up.
