Job summary

The QA Specialist at Dane Street plays an integral role in the review process, communicating with customers, reviewers, and management to ensure a completed report is delivered by the requested due date.

You will ensure timely completion and overall completeness of reviewer reports, uphold client requirements and clinical accuracy, and partner with the Manager to improve processes and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree preferred; LPN or RN license required.
• Healthcare or insurance setting experience preferred.
• Excellent communication, critical thinking, time management, and ability to meet deadlines.
• Computer literacy and data entry accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Provide regular report status updates to clients.
• Evaluate reports for client and jurisdictional standards; ensure clinical rationale supports determinations.
• Clarify ambiguous questions with clients and coordinate addenda.
• Distribute final reports according to client requirements.
• Communicate with physicians to ensure timely, supported reports.
• Review physician reports for accuracy, spelling, grammar, and compliance.
• Contribute to process improvements and mentor team members.
• Approve cases for release to clients; coordinate quality issue reports with VP.
