Job summary

Valor is seeking a Group Sales Manager to plan and execute group meetings, conferences, and social events. The role requires multi-tasking, handling high-pressure deadlines, and delivering exceptional customer service to guests, teams, and owners.

You will build strong client relationships, manage room blocks, BEOs, catering, and billing while coordinating with culinary operations and the sales team to drive full-service revenue.

Qualifications

• Cultivates engagement and builds loyalty to the hotel.
• Proven ability to host/facilitate effective meetings.
• Ability to prioritize and organize work assignments.

Responsibilities

• Receive and respond to inquiries for group meetings, events, and rooms; route to appropriate Sales Manager.
• Directly sell and book SMERF groups and manage room blocks, F&B, and related requirements.
• Organize site visits, pre-con meetings, and post-con meetings; act as on-site contact for clients.
• Maximize revenue by upselling hotel outlets and services; coordinate with vendors as needed.
• Prepare Group Resume Pack, attend daily ops standups, and maintain up-to-date files and reports.
